About Knox Funeral Home

building 300p
In 1949, Walter C. "Tub" Hopper Jr. became a licensed funeral director in Knox County following in the footsteps of his father. Generations of Knox Countians have counted on "Tub" to provide them with courteous, professional advice and affordable quality funeral services.

Since Knox Funeral Home opened February 18, 1990, "Tub" has guided the next generation of the family to provide the standard of funeral service in Knox County. For almost two decades, the father and son team of "Tub" and Joe Hopper have been working side-by-side to counsel and assist individuals and families with planning in-advance and celebrations of life at their time of need.

Conveniently located downtown on Knox Street, the funeral home provides a peaceful and comfortable meeting place for family and friends to remember and celebrate the life of a loved one.

Today, Joe serves in the family funeral home using the same caring and compassionate skills that "Tub" instilled in him.

Call or visit Knox Funeral Home today for information about advance planning, visitations, funeral services, cremation and memorial services.
